Three people were injured after a three-vehicle crash on Route 119 in Hebron.
Multiple Vehicle Involved in Crash
Police said a 40-year-old woman from Freeport lost control of her vehicle around 3:15 pm Friday and crossed the centerline.
Head-On Collision with Tanker Truck
She collided head-on with a loaded Maine Energy Systems tanker truck.
Man Injured and Taken to the Nearby Hospital
A vehicle behind her also crashed into the truck. A 22-year-old man from Norway, Maine was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Child Not Injured in Crash
A 2-month-old child was also in the vehicle and was not injured in the crash.
Woman Transported to the Hospital for Treatment
The Freeport woman was seriously injured and transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Truck Driver Taken to Hospital with Serious Injuries
A 60-year-old man from Bethel was driving the truck. He had serious injuries and was taken to Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Norway.
Crash Investigation Active and Ongoing
Police continue to investigate the three-vehicle crash.
