A fire in Bath, New Brunswick early Sunday morning left a family of three homeless.

Firefighters responded to the blaze shortly after 5:30 a.m. The CBC reports the small home was quickly destroyed. A mother and her two teenage sons made it out safely and are staying with relatives.

Canadian Red Cross spokesman Dan Bedell said the organization is helping the family buy food and other emergency items.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire. We’ll have more details as they become available.
