Three people were seriously injured Monday after a two-vehicle crash in Winterport.
Three People Injured after Two-Vehicle Crash
The crash happened around 1:46 pm at the intersection of North Road and Monroe Road.
Three people Transported to the Hospital with Serious Injuries
The Winterport Ambulance Service said the three injured people were taken to the hospital for medical attention and treatment.
Injured Flown by Helicopter to the Hospital
LifeFlight of Maine was used to transplant the injured as well as ambulances from Searsport and Brooks.

First Responders Extricated Injured People
Multiple agencies responded “to assist with scene management and patient extrication,” according to the Winterport Ambulance Service.

Also on the scene was the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and the West Frankfort Fire Department and the Village Fire Department.
