A teen driver in Waldo County ended up vertical Thursday afternoon when her car traveled in reverse up a utility pole support wire.

WABI reported that the teenage girl "misjudged while driving in reverse" in Freedom and ended up stuck on a utility guy-wire. (For those of you unfamiliar with the term, its a wire that helps anchor a free-standing structure like a utility pole or a radio tower.)

A Waldo County Sheriff's Office deputy assisted the girl out of the vehicle. She was not injured.
