On Friday, October 21, from 7am to 6pm, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and the Bangor Police Department will be hosting a “Drug Take Back & Shredding Event”.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency's clandestine lab team responded Saturday to a home in Edinburg, Maine, the site of a methamphetamine lab discovered the previous evening by a Penobscot County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Maine State Trooper.
UPDATE MONDAY 3 PM: The driver has been identified as 18-year old Tyler Babcock of Bangor. His passenger was 17-year-old Alex Chabre, also of Bangor. Speed and alcohol are being investigated as potential contributing factors.
