On a vacation, usually somewhere tropical, one of the first stops is the pool bar. There is something about a swim-up pool bar that just feels like a full-on Caribbean vacation. Well, don't book the plane tickets, just pack the car.

According to the Surf House Pool Bar's website, this is the only swim-up pool bar in New England. And it is vibey, cool, and worth the trip.

Surf House Pool Bar is located on Cape Cod. It is on the same property as Wicked Waves Waterpark in West Yarmouth, Cape Cod.

The best thing about the pool bar is that it is free to go. Many people think, because it is on the same property as the water park, that you need a day ticket to Wicked Waves to go to the Surf House Pool Bar...nope.

There is a separate entrance, so you can go for the day, or just pop in the pool and have a cocktail for an hour.

According to the Wicked Waves Cape Cod webiste, while you relax in the pool, you can get some entertainment simultaneously. The Flow Rider surf machine at the waterpark is adjacent to the pool.

So while you belly up at the pool bar, you can watch surfers and boogie boarders fall over and over again...or catch some waves!
