Structure Fire on Packard Road, Bridgewater, Maine

A fire that destroyed an abandoned house in Bridgewater is under investigation.

The blaze broke out in a building being demolished in a heavily wooded area on the Packard Road late Wednesday evening.

The structure was fully involved when the Bridgewater Fire Department arrived. The Mars Hill and Monticello Fire Dept. provided mutual aid.

The Maine Forest Service is investigating.
