Once again Maine's King of Horror is getting 2 of his stories adapted for the screen.

A story on BangorDailyNews.com reports that Stephen King and his son Owen are working on a pilot for the 2017 novel "Sleeping Beauties" for AMC TV. The book is about a mysterious sickness spreading across the world, which causes women to fall into a deep sleep, cocooned in a strange material. Not scary enough for you? Hold on, this is Stephen King we're talking about here. To make matters worse, the disease also causes the sleeping women to enter into a homicidal rage, attacking and brutally murdering anyone who tries to open the cocoons. That's more like it!

The other piece of work being turned into a movie, according to BDN,  is the twisted thriller “Rest Stop." The story of a mystery writer who had too much to drink at a meeting and finds a rest stop to relieve himself but gets more than he bargains for when he tries to help a woman who he believes was being attacked.

There's no word on whether these will hit the big screens, but look for them soon on television.
