The Nite Show Performance Series Features Past Musical Performances Here in Maine
The Nite Show with Danny Cashman was a locally produced late night show that came to a close this year. It now has new life as The Nite Show Performance Series, featuring performances from local and national acts.

What a way to go out in style. Asking David Letterman to be the final guest on The Nite Show was never even thought of as a possiblity. When Letterman walked through those doors without the audience even knowing who was the guest, was absolutely enrgentic.
Danny Cashman Talks with Howard Stern
Howard Stern got wind of Letterman coming to be on The Nite Show and put Danny on the air to talk about how it all happened.

Danny has always been a Letterman fan and Letterman was happy to come to Maine on his own time to the Husson University campus where the New England School of Communication is, to be on the show because he was so impressed by what Danny had acomplished in his many years on late night TV in Maine.
The Nite Show Performance Series
Now the Nite Show has gone on to become The Nite Show Performance Series hosted by Mark Nason, who is an instrcuctor at NESCOM, teaching students how to succede in the broadcasting field.
Students ran the original Nite Show, learning the ropes and many have gone on to much bigger thing since then.
The Nite Show Performance Series airs classic performances from The Nite Show archives, with new performances at The Gracie Theatre.
