After being unemployed for a year, Louis Ortiz is living the dream. It all started when a bartender suggested that if he shaved he would look like the president.

Ortiz went with the idea, and for the last few years he has made a living appearing on the streets of New York City, at live events, in movies and TV commercials, and has even met the Dalai Lama. This short documentary from the New York Times follows Ortiz through his transformation into, well, the presumed leader of the free world. And to give equal time during this political season, he appears with a Romney look-a-like near the end of the video.
