Monday morning, members of the RCMP in New Brunswick’s Major Crime Unit, with the assistance of the West District RCMP, arrested a 27-year-old man at a residence in Three Brooks, south of Plaster Rock.

The man is scheduled to appear in Woodstock Provincial Court on June 21, at 9:30 a.m., to face charges in connection with Rattray’s death.

Wayne Rattray was reported missing on March 2. Human remains that were discovered near Renous on May 21 were confirmed to be his, and the investigation led police to believe he had been murdered.

On June 14, 28-year-old Kurt Andrew Hudnut, of Moncton, was charged with first-degree murder in Rattray’s death.
