Police Investigate Suspicious Death of Victoria County Man
The RCMP is asking the public's assistance as it continues to investigate the suspicious death of a 42-year-old man from Victoria County, N.B., whose body was found last month.
Tony Vaillancourt of Morrell Siding had not been in contact with family or friends since April 9. Police say on August 2, Vaillancourt’s body was discovered in the Saint John River near Tobique Narrows. Following an autopsy and further investigation, police have determined his death is suspicious.
RCMP are actively pursuing several avenues, and are asking anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact the RCMP's Major Crime Unit at (506) 452-3491.
