One person died Wednesday night after a crash in Limerick.

One Person Died after Losing Control of Vehicle and Hitting a Tree

The York County Sheriff’s Office said the driver lost control of the 2014 Jeep Compass, left the road and hit a tree.

Single-Vehicle Crash Happened at Intersection

The single-vehicle crash happened around 7 pm near the intersection of Elm Street and Staples Road.

Driver Died at the Scene of the Crash and has not Been Identified

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The person was not identified and name and age were not released.

Crash Investigation is Ongoing

The crash is under investigation.
