One person was seriously injured after crashing into a telephone pole in Dexter.
Crashed into Telephone Pole and Injured
The single-vehicle crash happened around 11 pm Saturday night near the Dexter and Ripley town line.
Trapped in Vehicle and Extricated
The Dexter Fire Department said the driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated.
Driver Seriously Hurt and Taken to Hospital
The driver was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. Name and age were not released.
Road Conditions a Factor
Officials said the “roads were less than perfect.” The crash is under investigation.
Law Enforcement on the Scene
Assisting on the scene was the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and the Dexter Police Department.
