The crash happened near the Penobscot Valley Country Club, said WABI News.
Police said Motorcyclist Speeding and Passing Vehicles
The Orono Police Department said the person on the motorcycle was speeding and passing several vehicles when they collided with a car.
Pronounced Dead at the Scene
The motorcyclist died at the scene. They were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Name and age were not released.
Ongoing Investigation
Traffic was limited to one lane in the area. The investigation is ongoing.
