One Person Dead after House Fire in Maine
One person died in a house fire Sunday afternoon in Pittsfield.
Body Found in House
A body was located inside the residence after firefighters suppressed the blaze.
Woman Lived at the Residence
“The individual has been tentatively identified as 58-year-old Gili Brown. Mrs. Brown lived at the residence.” said the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Autopsy and Identification
The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy and positive identification.
Cause and Origin of Fire
The cause and origin of the fire was an overloaded power strip, said the State Fire Marshal.
