One Ejected from Vehicle & One Injured after Crash in Maine
Two people were seriously injured Friday night after a rollover crash on I-395 in Bangor.
Two Injured after Rollover Crash
The Maine State Police said 23-year-old Devon Ireland lost control of her Mazda Miata, hit a guardrail, rolled over and came to rest upside in both lanes of traffic.
Passenger Ejected from Vehicle
The passenger, 23-year-old Lauren McCann, was ejected from the vehicle and had life-threatening injuries.
Two Injured and Transported to the Hospital
Both Ireland and McCann were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Speed and Alcohol Appear to be Factors
“Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors,” said the Maine Department of Public Safety. The crash investigation is ongoing.
