One man died and a 21-year-old man faces multiple charges after a police chase and crash in Wesley.
One Dead and One Charged
James Nile from Bangor was charged with including Aggravated Eluding, Aggravated Driving to Endanger, and Operating After Suspension.
Man Died in Crash
A passenger in the vehicle, 38-year-old John Branscomb from Bangor, died from his injuries.

Speeding in Wrong Lane
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said the police pursuit started around 6:30 pm Saturday in Aurora after Deputies saw the vehicle speeding in the wrong lane.
Vehicle Stopped and Sped Off
The vehicle stopped for police before fleeing the scene, and later crashed in Wesley.

Fled on Foot after Crash
Niles and two other passengers fled on foot. They were apprehended and taken to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
