A 54-year-old man, Wade Bigelow from Garland, was charged Friday with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault and Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening.
Man Charged with Strangling Woman and Trying to Drag Her Out of Residence
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said “Bigelow had strangled his partner and attempted to drag her out of the residence.”
Sheriff’s Office Responded to Calls for a Family Fight
Deputies responded to the residence for a family fight around 8 pm.

Taken to County Jail and Processed on Multiple Charges
Bigelow was taken into custody and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
Charged with Domestic Violence Stalking and Violation of Protective Order
A second man was apprehended and faces charges for Domestic Violence Stalking and Violation of a Protective Order.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said 42-year-old Jason Wiggin from Hermon “had arrived at the residence multiple times and made repeated contacts throughout the early morning hours in violation of an active protective order.”

Second Man Taken into Custody and Transported to County Jail
He was arrested and taken to the Penobscot County Jail and booked.
