
Comedian Matt Rife’s Bangor Show Postponed Till Next Summer

A big night of laughs was coming to the Maine Savings Amphitheater, but fans will have to wait awhile longer.
The only thing that makes an upcoming Maine winter bearable, is when Bangor summer concerts come at you at a rapid-fire pace.
So far, it has been a slow start, but the month of July is set to turn that all around, with several shows coming to town, but one has been crossed off the list.
Matt Rife's "Stay Golden Tour" was headed to the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Saturday, July 12th, but yesterday, the show was postponed.
No official word has been given as to why, but the good news is that it will be re-scheduled for August 8th, 2026.

Matt Rife is an American comedian and actor. He is best known for his self-produced comedy specials Only Fans (2021), Matthew Steven Rife (2023) and Walking Red Flag (2023), his 2023 Netflix specials Natural Selection and Lucid, as well as his previous recurring role on the sketch improv comedy and rap show "Wild 'n Out".
In 2017, Matt Rife was a host on the short-lived reboot of Total Request Live and appeared on MTV's The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars.
In 2018 he played a role in the B-movie slasher film Black Pumpkin. Rife is also a paranormal investigator featured on the YouTube channel "Overnight". He was further featured on the television series Bring the Funny in 2019, where he advanced to the Semi-Final Showcase but was eliminated in week 8.
He got the last laugh because he has become one the biggest names in stand-up comedy.
Just hang on till next summer, and Matt will bring the funny to Bangor!
