One man was seriously injured Sunday after an ATV crash on Bald Mountain Trail in West Forks, Maine.
ATV Fell Back on Rider and he was Thrown Off
West Forks Volunteer Fire and Rescue said the rider was “navigating a large dip in the road when his ATV went up in the air, falling backwards and throwing him off.”
Rider was not Wearing Helmet and had Serious Head Injury
The man sustained a serious head injury. He was not wearing a helmet.
Man’s Condition Became Unstable in Ambulance
The man became less stable as he was being transported in an ambulance.
LifeFlight Called to Transport Man to Hospital
LifeFlight was called and landed at the Lake Moxie Boat Landing to take the man to the hospital.
