Man Sentenced to Life in Prison after Two Shot & Killed in Maine
A 47-year-old man was sentenced to two life sentences after two men were shot and killed in Poland, Maine.
Two Life Sentences
Aaron Aldrich from Auburn shot 16-year-old Mohamed Aden from Lewiston and 21-year-old Mohamed Adan from Springfield, Massachusetts in February 2023.
Drug Deal Shootings
The shooting deaths happened during a drug deal at a home on Tripp Lake Road.
Shot Victims with Semi-Automatic Rifle
Court records said Aldrich had a semi-automatic rifle in a tool bag and shot seven times at the victims without missing.
Took Selfie Holding Money
He also went through their pockets and took a selfie of him holding money, said WGME News.
Charged with Two Counts
Aldrich was charged with two counts of knowing or intentional murder and five years in prison for the prohibited use of a firearm.
