Man Sentenced to 37 Years after Wife Stabbed & Run Over in Maine
A 61-year-old man was sentenced to 37 years in prison after his estranged wife was stabbed and run her over with a truck in Norway. She died from her injuries.
Sentenced to 37 Years
Andrew St. George was charged with depraved indifference murder in October 2023 after the death of 60-year-old Barbara St. George.
Called Son to Admit What Happened
Court records said St. George stabbed her and ran her over with a truck outside their home in July 2023. He then called his son and admitted it to him.
Couple Was Separated and Divorcing
The couple had been separated for two years and were trying to divorce, according to investigators. They were not in agreement about who owned their home.
Ordered to Pay Funeral Expenses
St. George was also ordered to pay $3,000 for funeral expenses, said WGME News.
