One man riding a bicycle was seriously injured Saturday morning after a collision with a vehicle in Bangor.

Bicycle and Vehicle Crashed at Intersection

The crash happened around 10:30 am at the intersection of Burleigh Road and Bomarc Road.

Bicycle Tried to Go Around Vehicle on the Side of the Road

The Bangor Police Department said the bicyclist was hit after going around a vehicle that was pulled over on the side of the road.

Bicyclist Seriously Injured and Taken to the Hospital

The man on the bike was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. Name and age were not released.

Driver in Vehicle Not Injured in Crash

The driver in the vehicle was not injured in the crash and is cooperating with police.
