Driver Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Oromocto
West District RCMP are asking for information from the public in connection with a crash early Tuesday that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man from the Oromocto First Nation.

Police responded to the crash after a witness reported spotting wreckage on Waasis Road in Oromocto Tuesday morning. The Oromocto RCMP is investigating the cause of the crash. Cpl. Richard Cormier said the victim's van apparently left the road and collided with a tree. The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The van is described as a gold 2011 Toyota Sienna. Anyone who may have seen anything or has information about the crash is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at (506) 357-4300.
