An 85-year-old man was injured after crashing his SUV into a large shipping container at Walmart in Auburn.
Man had Medical Event and Crashed at Walmart
The Auburn Police Department said the man from Minot had a medical event and stepped on the accelerator instead of the brakes.
Crash in Parking Lot
The shipping container was in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter when the incident happened, said WGME News.
Vehicle and Container Totaled
The large shipping container and the vehicle sustained substantial damage and were both totaled.
Driver Injured and Taken to the Hospital
The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries. His name was not released.
