A 32-year-old man was arrested after trying to strangle his father’s girlfriend in Farmington.

Police said Nicholas Smith from Farmington was charged with Aggravated Assault and Criminal Threatening.
Argument over Chores
The incident happened at a home on Weeks Mills Road after an argument about chores, Smith became angry and threatened to kill the woman, said the Sun Journal.
Man Admitted Choking Woman
Smith admitted to choking his father’s girlfriend to the point where she could not breath, said the Sun Journal.
Bail Set at $500
He was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center with bail set at $500.
