Man Arrested for Drugs, Robbery and Assaulting Teen in Maine
A 38-year-old man was arrested for selling marijuana to teens, assaulting a 15-year-old and stealing his shoes, sweatshirt, and cell phone in Auburn.
Man Arrested for Robbing and Assaulting 15-Year-Old
Ryan Jolicoeur was charged with Robbery, Theft, Assault and Aggravated Drug Trafficking.
Stole Teen’s Shoes, Sweatshirt and Phone
The Auburn Police Department said a 15-year-old was “walking in New Auburn when Jolicoeur pulled his car up, got out, threatened him, then took the child’s shoes, sweatshirt, and cell phone before driving off. Jolicoeur then circled around minutes later, exited his car and assaulted the juvenile.”
Search Warrant Executed
Police executed a search warrant at Jolicoeur’s residence at 92 Fifth Street and arrested him.
Marijuana and Drug Money Seized
Officers seized more than 20 pounds of marijuana and marijuana products. Approximately $1,600 in suspected drug proceeds was also confiscated.
Suspect Released after Posting Bail
He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail with his bail set at $10,000. “Jolicoeur posted bail and has since been released from jail,” said police.
Long-Term Drug Investigation
The arrest was a part of a long-term investigation into drug trafficking at that location in Auburn.
