Man Arrested after Crashing into Bike and Fleeing in Maine
A 29-year-old man was arrested Friday after leaving the scene of a crash with a bicycle in Trenton.
Bicyclist Injured after Hit and Run
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said Jason Norwood from Bar Harbor hit the bicyclist on Bar Harbor Road. Norwood left the scene and did not stop or report the crash.
Suspect Located and Arrested
Deputies later located Norwood in Lamoine and took him into custody. He was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, said WABI News.
Driver Admitted Hitting Bicyclist
Norwood admitted to hitting the bicyclist, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Bicyclist Injured and Transported to Hospital
The person on the bike was injured and taken to the hospital.
