A 25-year-old man was arrested after fleeing from police and a high speed chase in Westbrook.
Man Arrested after Police Chase
The Westbrook Police Department said Jordan Young from Portland was driving at “a high and dangerous rate of speed through the Constitution Drive neighborhood.”
Fled at Criminal Speeds
Jordan fled from police at “criminal speeds.” He then stopped the vehicle in a driveway and fled on foot. Officers quickly apprehended him and took him into custody.
Suspect Hit a Vehicle before High Speed Chase
Police learned Jordan had hit a vehicle on Bridgton Road before the chase began.
Multiple Charges including OUI
Jordan was charged with Aggravated Driving to Endanger, Aggravated Criminal Mischief, Eluding an Officer, OUI, Operating with a Suspended License, Failing to report an Accident, Criminal Speed, Refusing to Submit to Arrest.
