Maine Comedian Tegan Wright Brings Local Humor To Social Media

Maine Comedian Tegan Wright describes himself on his YouTube channel as a "Host/Comedian/Who cares? A Hodge Podge of all things Maine, some comedy and ya know probably a podcast cause like, everyone else is doing it!"

He's not wrong. I even had a podcast not too long ago about competitive pinball, but it's kind of a niche audience and eventually was more work than I cared to do.

As for comedians, social media is where it's at, and Tegan Wright has some really funny stuff.

Host of Maine's Bachelorette

Yep. There was a Maine version of the popular ABC show The Bachelorette. Wright was one of the two hosts of the show.

In the role of co-host, his Maine accent was gone, but he can bring it back in the blink of an eye.. It just happens here in Maine if you spend any length of time in the state. You start speaking almost a completely different language.

Maine Towns You're Pronouncing Wrong

A recent video on Wright's Instagram page is titled "Maine Towns You're Pronouncing Wrong". I wrote a similar article a few years ago, but Teagan's is way better because he's making up a few of his own names for towns and they are hilarious.

I know that's a little hard to follow, but just watch his video and you'll see what I mean.
