Maine Boy Testifies During His Father’s Double Homicide Trial

A seven-year-old boy from Gloucester, ME testified today in court that he witnessed his father gunning down the boy’s mother.  

Joel Hayden, New Bedford, currently on trial for killing Trevor Mills and Renee Sandora. Hayden suspected that Sandora had an affair with Mills. During an argument at Sandora’s home Hayden shot both of them, while his son watched.

Hayden has plead not guilty. His attorney says that DNA evidence and shell casing point to another shooter that is not Hayden.
