There are a lot of KFC restaurants in the County. Public health advocates are now excited about the fact that the food chain will no longer serve antibiotics in their chicken.

Kentucky Fried Chicken announced that by the end of 2018, that all chicken purchased by the company will be without antibiotics.

The reason for the decision, in part, is because of the rise of antibiotic superbugs that are becoming more resistant to the drug that humans need in times of sickness.

So when you bite into that juicy, finger-licken good chicken in 2019, just know that it will be antibiotic-free. Which should be a great move for us all.
