Just Looking Around: Mourning Dove after the Storm

This week's Just Looking Around photographer is Anna Lightbown of Caribou, Maine. The mourning dove is sometimes called a rain dove, but this one in Aroostook County is more of a snow dove.

Anna's sweet friend looks fairly composed and content after such a significant snow storm.

This dove may be vagrant or just a late-season migrant, but doesn't seem too worried about it.
