One person was injured on I-95 in Bangor after a chain reaction crash involving a tractor trailer.

Crash Involved Tractor-Trailer and Two other Vehicles

The three-vehicle crash happened Friday morning near Exit 182 in the southbound lanes.

Semi Went Off the Interstate and into the Shoulder

The Maine State Police said the tractor trailer lost control and veered into the shoulder of the Interstate.

Large Amount of Dust Created

The crash created a large amount of dust, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Vehicle Rear-Ended a Stopped Vehicle in Chain Reaction Crash

The vehicle behind the tractor trailer stopped in the roadway and was rear-ended by a third vehicle.

Driver Taken to the Hospital with Serious Injuries

The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended had a leg injury and was transported to the hospital for medical attention and treatment.

The investigation is ongoing. No other injuries were reported. Names and ages were not released.
