Human Remains Identified As Missing Man Who Washed Ashore The St. John River
The human remains which were discovered in the Saint John River have positively been identified as a missing man from Morrell Siding, New Brunswick.
According to a report from the West District RCMP, on August 2, 2017, a body was discovered near the shore, close to Tobique Narrows.
An autopsy and further investigation have positively identified the body as 42-year-old Tony Vaillancourt, who has not been in contact with friends or family since April 9, 2017.
Police are still investigating and working to determine the exact cause of death.
