Human Remains Found in Vehicle in Western New Brunswick
The West District RCMP is investigating after human remains were discovered in Napadogan, about 25 kilometres northwest of Stanley.
A hunter in a wooded area off Route 107 found a vehicle with a body inside on Wednesday, according to Sgt. Marc Fortin. The vehicle--a black 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV--matches the description and licence plate as the one 43-year-old Susan Lee of Newcastle Creek was believed to have been driving, Fortin said.
Lee, originally from St. Mary’s First Nation, was reported missing to RCMP on July 21.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine who the person was and how they died. The investigation is continuing.
