The West District RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Yoho, New Brunswick early Thursday that claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy.


Shortly after 12:15 a.m., members of the Keswick RCMP responded to a call of a car that went off Highway 640. Sgt. Andrea Gallant said in a news release that a 16-year-old boy from Harvey, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene. Two other people in the car were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing. An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting, Gallant said.
