Good Samaritan & Driver Injured after Crash in Maine
Two people were seriously injured after a Good Samaritan was hit by a vehicle while helping a driver that hit a tree in Kennebunk.
Man Helped Driver after Crash
The incident started when a car collided with a tree on Sea Road. A man staying across the street from the crash was helping the driver.
Second Vehicle Hit First Vehicle and Good Samaritan
Kennebunk Fire-Rescue said the Good Samaritan “noted that the accident had knocked out the vehicle’s lights and he was worried another car was going to come along and hit the original vehicle.”
Second Vehicle Hit Pedestrian and Car
Another vehicle then hit the pedestrian as he was helping the driver in the first vehicle.
Two People Taken to Hospital with Injuries
The pedestrian was transported to a Portland hospital and the first driver was taken to a hospital in Biddeford.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The crash investigation is ongoing. Information about the second driver was not released.
