We’re all busy with the everyday hustle and bustle that is our life. We seem to be constantly on the go, often times forcing us to eat on fly.

It’s a constant struggle for many of us to juggle work, school and play. According to the CDC, the average American eats away from home four times a week, and studies have shown that can translate to putting on 8 extra pounds a year? I can totally see how that could happen. Scary when you really think about it. No wonder so many people in our country are obese.

The CDC suggests you “Go light when you grab a bite”. Meaning, eat something reasonable and healthy if you don’t have the time for a sit down meal.

You don’t have to unhealthy choices when it comes to food. If you plan ahead and make a meal or a snack to take with you days we know you’ll be rushed, you’ll be better off in the long run. Or on the days you don’t have time to plan ahead; you can order healthier meal options or smaller sizes.
