Fort Fairfield Stabbing Victim Charged with Assault
We told you about a stabbing incident that took place in Fort Fairfield earlier this week, and we have an update.

According to the Fort Fairfield Police Department, the stabbing victim, 45-year-old Kary Carney was arrested on Thursday evening and was charged with assault under the domestic violence laws. The arrest took place in Fort Fairfield.
Fort Fairfield Police Department arrested 42-year-old April McCausland on Tuesday after she alleged stabbed Carney multiple times in the chest and abdomen during a domestic dispute at an apartment on Border View Street in Fort Fairfield.
McCausland was taken to jail in Caribou.
Police say that Carney was bailed out and will appear in District Court in Presque Isle in February.
