Man Died and Two Injured after Three-Vehicle Crash in Maine

A 47-year-old man died Friday and two people were seriously injured after a three-vehicle crash in Surry.

Man Died from Injuries after Motor Vehicle Crash

Mark Nevells from Brooksville was pronounced dead at the scene from critical injuries.

Three-Vehicle Crash in the Friday Afternoon

The crash happened on Blue Hill Road around 2:44 pm.

Vehicle Crossed the Center Line and Hit Two Vehicles

The Maine State Police said Nevells was driving a 2015 Subaru Forester when he crossed the center line and collided with two vehicles, a 2018 Honda Fit and a 2024 Ram 2500.

Two People Injured and Treated at the Hospital

The two drivers were taken to an area hospital for medical attention. They were both later released after treatment and evaluation.

Investigators Looking into Crash

The crash remains under investigation, according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
