The major airline has announced changes to its in-flight services that will stop it from offering these complimentary perks.

These changes come amid broader shifts across the airline industry, including the announced closure of Spirit Airlines.

Delta Air Lines is removing all food and beverage service from about 450 daily flights, primarily impacting shorter routes.

Beginning May 19th, passengers on flights under 349 miles will no longer receive in-flight meals, snacks, or drinks.

According to People, Delta says that it will adjust onboard service, with flights 350 miles and above in Delta Comfort and Main receiving full beverage and snack service.

Shorter flights will no longer offer food or drinks, while Delta First will continue to receive full service, and a spokesperson added that even on flights without beverage service, crews will remain visible and focused on caring for customers.
