Christina Aguilera has stayed in the public eye as a coach on The Voice, but it's been awhile since she's released an album. Now there are signs she's working on new material.
Lotus, her 7th studio album, came out almost four years ago. Over the weekend, the pop superstar shared an Instagram photo of herself working in the recording studio.

Since her last album, she's given birth, to daughter Summer Rain, born August 2014, and had a hit collaboration with A Great Big World's "Say Something," recorded "Anywhere But Here" for the Finding Neverland soundtrack and charted with a country hit "Shotgun," from ABC's Nashville drama series.

She's mentioned in several interviews her next album is likely to be a collaboration with super producer and artist Pharrell Williams, who is also a former music coach on The Voice.

Here's a stellar live version of John Lennon's "Mother" Christina performed at Linda Perry's party January 5 to celebrate Perry's involvement with the Freeheld film.
