According to a tweet by Justin Trudeau, the 23rd Prime Minister of Canada, there is a bill in the Senate to make Canada's National Anthem gender neutral.

Trudeau recently posted a tweet on Twitter in an effort to inform people that Canada is making another positive step towards gender equality.

The beginning of Canada's National Anthem begins like this,

"O Canada, Our Home and Native Land, True Patriot Love in all Thy Sons Command."

Canada's Senate has now passed a bill to change the phrase, 'thy sons command' to a gender-neutral phrase of 'all of us in command'.

At this point, it must receive "royal assent" from the governor before it can be changed.
