19-Year-Old Wal Mart Employee Found Dead in Store’s Bakery Oven

A 19-year-old Woman is dead according to an article published by WGME 13.

The article goes on to explain that an investigation is underway in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada following the discovery of a body inside a walk-in oven at a Wal Mart Bakery on Saturday night.

The Halifax Regional Police put out a statement in regards to the incident saying in part, "The woman, who was an employee of the store, was located in a large walk-in oven belonging to the store’s bakery department,"

WGME is reporting on Wednesday morning that area investigators have partnered with occupational health as well as the Medical Examiner's Office to determine what may have led to this tragic death.

The Nova Scotia Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, told USA Today in part about the tragic discovery,

"We extend sympathies to the employee's family at this incredibly difficult time. As this is an active investigation, we cannot release further details at this time. Please note, workplace investigations are complex and can take time."

At this time, there has been no word on possible foul play or what may have led to the woman being left inside the Wal Mart bakery oven long enough to perish.

With this being an ongoing investigation we do expect more information to eventually emerge regarding the series of events that led to this young lady's untimely death.
