Building Destroyed after Fire in Monticello, Maine
One building was destroyed in a fire Monday night in Monticello.
Marijuana Grow Operation in Building
Monticello Fire Chief Morris Pinnette said a marijuana grow operation was occupying the building. The name of the business was not released, said WAGM News.
Late Night Fire
The fire started around 11 pm Monday at the corner of Britton Road and Route 1.
Building Burned for Hours
Firefighters battled the blaze until 4 am Tuesday. The building was a complete loss.
Fire Under Investigation
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
Multiple Fire Crews Responded to the Scene
Bridgewater and Littleton Fire Departments assisted the Monticello Fire Department.
