Man Charged with OUI after Crash with Police Cruiser in Maine
A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged with Operating Under the Influence after following a woman and crashing into a police car in Rockland.
Followed Woman into Police Parking Lot
The Rockland Police Department said a woman pulled into the police parking lot after reporting a man following her around town in a vehicle.
Struck a Parked Police Car and Fled
Tilford Tillman also drove into the parking lot and collided with a marked cruiser. He then fled the scene.
OUI and More Charges
He was apprehended and charged with OUI, Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Driving to Endanger.
Ongoing Investigation
Tillman was taken to the Knox County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
