Aroostook County Sheriffs Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness

April is Autism Awareness Month. The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office showed their support April 2nd for World Autism Awareness Day at the Light It Up Blue event in Houlton.

The sensory friendly event connected families with law enforcement Tuesday evening, and explored different aspects of the Sheriff’s Office.

There was a meet & greet, tour of cruisers, how to call 911, tour of dispatch, and evidence processing.
