UPDATE (April 5): Adore's management, PEG, issued a statement in response: “Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) remains under contract with Adore Delano (AKA Daniel Noriega). We are confident that this alleged suit, as PEG first became aware of it through a news agency and not formal service of process, will be found to be frivolous in nature. With respect to the allegations, they are categorically inaccurate in every regard, including Mr. Noriega’s income, expenses and PEG’s commissions. We maintain a professional, upstanding and successful relationship with our client roster and are dismayed by Mr. Noriega’s unfounded allegations. PEG would never take actions that are adverse to the careers of our artists and continues to work with Adore on existing business and engagements.”

Adore and The Landau Group, the legal entity filing suit on behalf of Adore against PEG, contacted PopCrush via representative with the following statement in response to the management's statement: "On April 4, 2017, the managers avoided formal service of process, yet conveniently issued a 'categorical denial' without having read the actual complaint. Such conduct is symptomatic of the allegations contained therein and further illustrates PEG’s depravity toward Adore, during their tenure as management. Adore and her lawyers are cognizant as to the seriousness of the allegations levied against the defendants, all of which have been further detailed in the lawsuit spanning nearly 30 pages. Each and every assertion is premised in fact and supported in reason through PEG’s own documentation and other independent investigation. To Adore’s loyal fans, this is a time to celebrate her music, and spirit, and to support her while she fights for her rights. Adore loves you all, and prays that you send her your support with tweets and well wishes."

ORIGINAL STORY (April 4): Gentlemen, start your engines, and may the best woman win...in a court of law.

"I Adore U" singer Adore Delano (AKA Danny Noreiga), who quickly became a fan favorite after a run on Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race, is suing his management according to a report by TMZ.

"In a lawsuit, Adore says he earned $2.5 million over the past 3 years -- mostly off 2 hit singles and hundreds of concerts -- but only walked away with $300k. He believes his managers at Producer Entertainment Group conspired with his record label, and others, to embezzle his hard earned dough," the site reports.

Delano released Till Death Do Us Party in 2014, which entered at No. 59 on the Billboard 200, followed by After Party in 2016, which hit the No 1. spot on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

The lawsuit includes examples of his management reportedly "nickel-and-diming him, often taking as much as 70% of his appearance fees and other revenue streams. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, the management team threatened to 'destroy his career' if Adore continued questioning his finances. He's suing for $1 million in lost wages, and another $2.5 mil in punitive damages."

Adore is currently scheduled for a 2017 international club tour, kicking off on April 15 in Las Vegas. As of today (Apr. 4), he has not yet commented on the reported lawsuit on social media.

The PEG management roster also boasts several other RuPaul's Drag Race contestants, including winners Alaska 5000, Jinkx Monsoon and Bianca Del Rio.
